Log Cabin
menu

This is a one room log cabin with a deck area. It is made of pine and I built it from a kit. The dimensions of the room are roughly 3.5m x 2.5, with a deck area of, 3.5m x 1.5m.

The bed consists of 12cm (6inch) mattress on a wooden platform. If not king size it's damn close. It's also pretty soft

This is the path from the cabin to the main house, where toilet, shower and cooking facilities are. This distance is approx 20m.

The cabin has lights and an electrical outlet for charging phones etc powered by this solar panel. For winter warmth, there is a kerosene heater; and for summer cool there is a fan and often a cooling breeze off the ocean

This is the view from the cabin deck. It faces north-eastwards, and gives you a panoramic view out over Sagami bay.
